Anyone else set their Mac up to announce the time on the hour/half hour/quarter hour? I thought it would be nifty to keep track of time.. But, I still loose track of time.

No, it was annoying and distracting so I turned it off. I just glance in either XP's or OSX's clock corner for the time ;)

It is nice to have that option, however, I don't use it.

i am the same i used to do it for a while, but got bored and switched it off. Cool feature though, the only thing it would be nicer if they put a sexier voice , not the robotic ones we have now.

Nothing is more annoying that plugging in someones Mac into a PA system, and having it scream the time right durring the middle of an important presentation...

I always disable it, even it's someone elses computer that I happen to be using.
