I have a huge computer desk now and I just moved to an apartment, so I need a smaller computer desk. * Note it doest have to be mobile, I just thought that would be a neat idea though. Do you think these desks would be able to support / have enough room for a crt monitor?

The second one seems slightly more practical in terms of space. Are you so limited in terms of space that you cannot spare a slightly larger desk?

Here are things to consider ...
Are you a student? If so, this desk is unsuitable for a student if you use a book or a pad of paper.
Do you work from home? If so, see above reasoning.
Do you have any hobbies that may one day result in you needing additional space and perhaps additional hard drives or anything that doesn't fit in your little computer alcove.
Do you think that one day you may need drawers or something that holds pens and papers? In a new apartment you'll generate things like bills and such. It may help to have a space for that stuff and if so, a larger desk may work.

It is probably inexpensive, so much so that you can try it out and if you dislike you can return or just give away. However, I would not be able to live on that desk.
