I moved my USB order around but other than that no nothing new in the last several months. Could it be from an overloaded USB hub? I plugged my webcam into it recently and figured that may be the culprit.

Unplug the webcam. See if the problem goes away.

Is your USB hub a powered hub (with a separate power supply) or not? I have both kinds.

Exactly what devices are plugged into your USB hub?

The crashing program was diskarbitrationd. Here's its man page:
https://developer.apple.com/library...ference/ManPages/man8/diskarbitrationd.8.html

Since it's responsible for arbitrating disks, if the USB bus has sudden power loss or recovery, or disks go on and off rapidly, it could become very confused and crash.
