Where there is normally a small list of computers on the network on my finder sidebar, yesterday they just randomly disappeared under my places. The computers that were there are on and can see each other but I can't see them. Anyone know how to get this back?

I noticed this after I randomly got this message about a kernel failure that needed me to restart. A little bit after I restarted is when they disappeared.

At least on my system, if I haven't manually added a server to the Finder sidebar, it will not appear there if I'm not connected to it. Since restarting will disconnect any server, stuff generally disappears after a reboot until I reconnect.

That may or may not be what you're seeing, though.
