Has someone here been able to hack Safari 6 on Mountain Lion to use the StartPage.com search engine instead of Google (or the other built-in engines)?

I care about this, because I am a fan of privacy.

StartPage.com respects your privacy. It doesn't record your searches, and it doesn't record your IP address.

I've been looking into this as well for the same reason, want to change it to duckduckgo the only hack I could find dates back to 2003.

Agree with y'all. I've had Glims installed (on Snow Leopard) in order to use duckduckgo.com, and I've gotten mighty used to their built in shortcuts. Not to mention I also like how they mangle my privacy data before google gets a hold of it.

Anyone know of a Glims update coming? Or alternative to allow multiple search engines? I'd prefer not to get into the binary on this one...
