Confirmed: Best Buy WILL have White iPhone 4

Does anybody really think that Best Buy is going to have something made by Apple that Apple isn't selling?

All I am saying is that the chances of Best Buy having the White iPhone on launch day are about the same as a snowball's chances in Hell are. Good Luck in your search for the mystical white iPhone guys! (I wanted a white one too... so sorry if this came off a little sarcastic.)

just out of curiosity did you guys get both 16gb and 32gb models in today? and if so how many of each?

From what I saw, we got a couple boxes of each. I think there are 10 per box. Our inventory team said they didn't think they were getting anymore before launch day, but we will see. I was there when they were opening the boxes to count them, and we looked through all of them to see if there were any white ones, and there were not. Black only guys and gals.
 
Man. It's times like these that I wish my friend still worked for Best Buy. lol
I might make a call to my neighbor. He has a cousin that works at one. I'll just call him for info.
 
what we need is some more best buy employees on this forum! haha..seems like some people are getting indications from their local best buys that they received white ones, but others are saying no white ones. guess we'll see on thursday! :D

yeah I'd like to but ill be pissed if I goto the apple store at like 5am and they dont have white. when I could have slept, worked and strolled in there at 5 to pickup the reserve for the girlfriend. But if they DO have them I know theyll be almost impossible to find after launch.
 
Isn't it possible that some Best Buys would be getting the white iPhone 4 and others won't, depending on the size or the store/area that it's located??
 
Bleh! If we had an Apple Store near where I lived, I'd work there and I'd have the scoop! What's the deal with employees of iPhone retailers? Are they allowed to pre-order an iPhone? I'd be pissed if I had to work on launch day and see everyone get their phones.

I guess in theory it is possible. However, I work in the second largest store in the district, in the highest revenue district in the country. My guess is that if we aren't getting White iPhones, nobody is. Once again, THAT IS A GUESS. When you couple this with the fact that Best Buy has released a press release (noted in the forum thread) that they won't be getting any White iPhones, my bet is no White iPhones.

Apple employees don't get the scoop. Trust me. Well the majority don't until the night before launch. The majority are "specialist" they get all launch info and plans the night before.
 
Just got off the phone with the Best Buy that I preordered from. They don't even have their inventory in yet, and aren't expecting to receive it until Thursday, which is when they'll start phone calling those who did pre-order. The guy couldn't even give me my number in line.
 
BS on the White phones, BB screwed me today bc I pre-ordered a Black 32GB and I was #14, they called me today to let me know they can not even fill my order so what a crock of crud.

I have better words for them, but not in here, anyway I do not believe anything from Best Buy and they have lost my business, with this screw up, so good thing I managed to pre-order one from the Apple APP and I received a confirmation email from Apple so I should be set.

Um best buy preorders were never EVER guaranteed for launch day. Best Buy didn't screw anything up unless they specifically told you that you would get one on the 24th which they were specifically instructed not too.

People are so sensitive and quick to "take business away" from best buy :rolleyes:
 
Well this is the info from the Apples Site as of right now!

White iPhone currently unavailable for pre-order or in-store pickup

It's pretty cut and dry to me!

So if they pre-ship without allowing me to even pre-order I am going to be pissed! because at this time I can't even put my name on one. this is why I haven't ordered yet! we will know Thursday if Ts is lying if we don't see people bragging they got a white one!
 
Lying...I guarantee it...no White iPhone for best buy right now. But they will have them later.
