I'm switching over to Verizon and I see that Apple.com only allows you to order the phone one at a time :/

If the current rumours are true, UK pre-orders should begin at 8am UK time.

What I'd like to know is will the iPhone 5 pre-orders begin on the network websites, such as o2 and EE, at the same time as they start on the Apple website, Supposedly at 8am UK time?

How did it happen with the previous 4s launch?

you will have to contact your mobile provider and they will transfer it probally best to do it the day before the phone is due to be delivered as it can take 24hrs to transfer your number

I don't think you understand how time works. Midnight Pacific time in the US does not equal midnight time in the UK.

Just finally got in touch with the 1-800 Apple phone number.

Pre-orders will deliver on the 21st, the same day as released in stores. I asked the gal several times to confirm this, and she said both her internal documentation and information from superiors confirms this. iPhone pre-orders will deliver on the 21st.

Also pre-order time starts at Midnight, September 14th, Pacific Time

1 AM Mountain
2 AM Central
3 AM Eastern
