Reliable sources are confirming there will be a 2012 iMac, which this news comes just a few days after we reported there could still be an iMac in 2012. The new iMac would likely see a release date in September after being shipped to factories in August, and these rumors come from the Apple’s supply chain and were sent to this popular blog from a KGI analyst.

Only one more month to go!!!

guys we have to hold on to whatever we can, don't discount the importances of this one.

think about it - every time we think there will be a release, someone says, "it won't happen because no supply chain rumors" and they are right.

but now we have a supply chain rumors

Not discounting it, just saying that it is nothing new. It's already been discussed here, as MacRumors and AppleInsider (amongst others) have already published stories using the same information from the KGI analyst. This Product Reviews story is simply using the AppleInsider story as a source.

Ming-Chi Kuo's previous information has turned out to be spot-on, IIRC (e.g. his reports about the MBP updates). A much better source than DigiTimes...

What are everyone's feelings if the 2012 iMac is released/available for ordering in September, that it will be before the "Back to School" promotion ends?

I'd like to be able to take advantage of the $100 gift card with my order...
