HomeKit Conflict between automations

I have an automation set up to turn on the outside lights at sunset and they stay on until 9:30. Works great except when my other automation kicks in.

Automation #2 turns on the outside lights when anyone arrives home and it turns them off after 10 minutes.

The problem I am running into is that If someone comes home after sunset but before 9:30, the lights won't stay on until 9:30. I want the first automation to essentially take priority. Is there any way to accomplish this? Thanks.

Why do you need automation 2 when the lights are already on? Start automation 2 9:35 until morning

A solution to that is to have automation #2 set to trigger when:

1) anyone arrives home, AND
2) light is currently off

HomeKit supports multiple conditions, but the home app doesn't let you set them, so you have to use another app to do this. Eve or Controller work well for that.

Couldn’t you set the second one to turn on the lights when someone gets home after 9:30?
