I initiated yesterday a return on the apple website. I printed a label and I'm in tending to drop my phone at a pick up location.
On the email I received confirming the return it says I have 5 business day to send it back however on the website when I track my return it says I have until the 24th, so I'm confused now.. how long do I really have to send it back ??

To be sure, you should probably just use the earliest date. What’s the date of purchase? It could also have something to do with the validity of the return label itself.

I bought it last week on Oct 1st .. I was thinking about the label as well.. I'll see if I print another one looks different .. maybe not ..

Hmm. This is through apple.com? Typically when you initiate the return on your apple.com web orders, they give you additional 14 days to return it otherwise they cancel the returns all together. Strange they only gave you 5 days.

What I meant was, maybe the return label is only valid for 5 days. So you may take 14 days to return the product, but now that you've printed the label, you have to comply with the specific process of the postal service (not Apple).

Can confirm, it is just the label that is valid for 5 days. If you want to return after 5 days, just contact support within the 14 day return window and they can generate a new label for you. I

I clicked now on printing another label and I can see it has today's date while the one I printed yesterday it has yesterday date... so will the new label will count the 5 days from today ? do I need to contact Apple ?

Hm sorry not sure, on around day 13 I just contacted them to be certain and they generated one for me

Apple messaging sucks. I am sure that is 5 days for the label to remain valid. Once its shipped it aint your problem anymore.

I wouldn't worry too much about the label to be honest. I printed the return label right after I initiated the return and sent it on day 10 of the 14 and they still accepted my return with no issues. I think it's just the label that expires. You still have 14 days from the date you initiate the return. Just print a new label you are set.
