Confused about this 'third party' issue?

I would love an iPhone 4 but have mild co-ordination difficulties. I could manage hitting the icons but would struggle with qwerty keyboards for doing SMS/Email

Recently on YouTube I seen several videos showing how to pair the Freedom Pro Bluetooth keyboard with an iPad.

I thought Apple didn't allow third party products to connect?

If it works with that, would it also work with an iPhone for me to send longer SMS or emails from it?

Does anyone have both and have got them to work together?

Dragon Dictation

This may not be really what you were looking for but you could try this...

Its a dictation app just released and is currently free. Haven't tried it yet as I'm still waiting my iphone but would sure be worth a look once you get an iphone

The videos only seemed to show it with the apple one, I was thinking of folding one to slip in bag with iphone.

That dragon dictate is useless lol i just tried it, I said 'Hi' and it typed '3 pounds and are! ' 😀

If it cant get the first word right it will take me ages to write an email if it takes several attempts for one word at a time! much quicker to type it on folding keyboard if I knew I could get one working with it. 🙂
