Confused by 17" PBG4 battery model numbers

I'm keeping an eye out for a battery replacement for my 17" DLSD (A1139). The battery that's in there is an A1149, but I rarely see reference to that one. I see other A-numbers, M-numbers, but I have no idea which of all them are equivalent or compatible. Does anyone know of a reference I can look at to figure this out? I'd like to maximize my chances of finding something consistent with.... well, something that fits and works.

Sorry I don't have any references handy but from my research for replacing my (now deceased) 17" PB G4 battery a few months ago, I learned that all 17" Powerbook G4 batteries are compatible. So, any of those numbers are interchangeable for your usage. Also, please note that, while very similar looking, the batteries for a 17" MBP are NOT compatible.

Thanks. I thought so, but wasn't certain of it. The 17" MBP batteries are a slightly different form factor, as best as I can tell, being slightly wider than the batteries for the 17" AlBooks.
