Hey guys, I have finally been turned and decided to purchase myself a 17" MBP which was dispatched earlier in the week.

Since this is my first order with Apple, I was a little confused by my order tracking screen, it seems to suggest that there are two dates which I might receive my delivery, one is the 21st and the other the 26th.

Here is a screenshot of the part of the order status page with the dates:

I am not sure what the two dates mean, my first guess was that the 21st would be when my order would be getting passed on to the courier company that will be delivering the machine to my house, after it arrives in the UK from the Shanghai factory.

However, I have been thinking about it further and decided that is maybe a little strange, as I can't really think of a reason why it would be important to know when a delivery company would be given my order, fair enough it is good to know in advance who to expect knocking on my door, but I can't come up with a reason to know when someone will be assigned the job of lugging all my kit to my house.

I tried calling the apple-store helpline, but I managed to get them about 20 minutes after they closed and decided that I should try asking here as well, since you guys will likely have received orders yourselves.

Thanks in advance,
Nimmo

You never bought anything before?

Current Delivery Status should be Current Status

Is this easier?
Feb 16 Shipped
Feb 21 In Transit
Feb 26 Estimated Delivery

Thanks for your answer Consultant, but the 21st has been sitting there since the 16th when it was initially dispatched.
