On 26th March I ordered what I thought was the brand new version of the MacBook Pro from the Apple Store UK.
I ordered these specs...

13-inch MacBook Pro with Retina display
• 3.1GHz Dual-core Intel Core i7, Turbo Boost up to 3.4GHz
• 16GB 1866MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM
• 512GB PCIe-based Flash Storage
• Intel Iris Graphics 6100
• Force Touch trackpad
• Accessory Kit
• Backlit Keyboard (British) & User's Guide (English)

Yet it is not as thin as the brand new models, it has more than one port and a noisy fan.
Have I got some sort of hybrid or am I getting confused with the new Macbook upgrade?

It's a MacBook Pro with retina display.

The new ultra portable fanless laptop is just MacBook, and went avaiable to order on 10th April.

You've been trolled by a first time poster.

I'm not an expert on cars or televisions like I know Macs but I sure as hell would know the difference between ordering a 2013 Honda Accord and a 2016 model. Or the difference between a 60" HDTV and a 60" 4K TV when I am ordering it. So I'm pretty sure he's trolling considering he knows about upgrading to an i7 processor but can't tell that the picture of what he is ordering is not the new MacBook?

Do you seriously not know what you ordered?

You didn't order a MACBOOK. You ordered a MACBOOK PRO.

I was having a bad day!!

I read a review which I though was for a Macbook Pro. It highlighted the fact there was no fan and so deadly silent. My new Macbook Pro has a v nosy fan!!

So I was a little confused. My bad! I am not a troll. :)
