Connect failure - public WiFi

I've had this just crop up. I cannot connect to any unsecured public WiFi network that shows "Security Recommendation".

It shows it available, and after I select it it shows a check mark. But I don't get connected, and the cellular connection remains.

Could be an issue with the network itself. I've seen it from time to time.

Hmm I suppose so but it just started to happen in the last week, on 3 out of 3 public networks I've tried to get on.
