iPad Connect iPad to handycam

Hello all.

I was wondering if is possible to connect an iPad 2 to a handycam.

What i want to do is to use the iPad 2 as a monitor for when the camera is on, instead of looking at the small screen, i use the ipad.

Is that possible?

not really.

GoPro have an iOS app to control the camera, but there is a lag of about 5 sec. so even when build for it it's not very good.

what out put does the camera have ? perhaps you could make your own app with an interface, but I find it unlikely would be any good.
