Hi

I'm new to mac. I have a MacBook- I've hooked it up to my local network like I did with my Windows PC. My windows PC, I could go to 'My Network' and find the Storage Device and connect to it.

On this Mac, I can not find that option. Please help!
Ask if you need any further information- I'll try and let you know as much as I can

Regards
- Paul

Have you turned on file sharing in System Preferences under Sharing?

Also, what kind of storage device is it? If it's a Windows share, you'll have to make sure SMB sharing is turned on.
