What is the simplest way to connect to my iMac from my iPad when at home with both devices on my home WiFi?

I just want a basic, cheap (free!) way, prefer not to have to install too much if possible on my iMac.

If suggesting, links would be great (UK store), and what is needed to use it on iMac also

Thanks

Not sure what you're looking to do, once connected.
If it's for file transfer, a free solution would be to install deskconnect on both devices.

Readdle's Documents allows you to setup a wifi connection, also for file transfer.

I cant remember if its free or not, but I love Splashtop. Ive been using that one for years.

Parallels also has a remote access, again, unsure of the price.

There is a "chrome remote" I think its called, by google that allows remote access. This one I know is free.
