Connect to Internet on Computer Through iPhone

Is it possible to connect to the internet on your personal computer with your iPhone's EDGE or 3G Network? If so, how?

Yeah there was something on 9 to 5 mac about o2 enabling bluetooth tethering. Anyone know how to actually do this or if it is wrong?

If (when) you can Jailbreak the new phone it will enable SSH and you can connect to the Internet via an SSH tunnel through the phones Wifi.
