I’m trying to connect my iPad Pro 11 2018 to my LG tv but get no signal. The connection is using an Apple USB C digital adaptor with HDMI direct to the tv.
The following has been tried so far:
Different cables
Different HDMI ports on the tv
Connected my MacBook Pro using the same adaptor and cables and this works perfectly
different sequences of tunring on the devices
I also tried this on another lg tv and received no signal but it will work when connecting to a Dell 24“ monitor.
I’m guessing it’s some kind of HDCP handshake issue but out of ideas to solve it.
** I’ve managed to try with a 3rd party USB-C adapter and it worked
