I've got a sport and now connected Endomondo app to my watch for tracking on a map as Endomondo does, as it seems the apple activity app doesn't.

But how do I get the Endomondo app to also record my heartbeat? All I can see on the Endomondo app on my iPhone is to connect a heart rate monitor, but can't connect my watch to it.

Anyone please help?
Thanks

I don't believe third party apps can get the watch heart rate data yet. That should come when apple releases watchOS 2.

Ah ok didn't realise this thanks. There's an option in endomondo, I presumed it could link to that.

Ok, think I'll go back to using the inbuilt activity tracker for now then. It's just I prefer to see the map of the route.

Is this now available in watchOS2? Still can't get it in endomondo, is it available in other apps and it's just endomondo hasn't updated yet?
