Hello MR crowd,
I have a Mac mini Server setup as a primary domain controller using OpenDirectory and I am trying to connect a user to it from a Windows XP system.
I have SMB and WINS enabled, and when I enter the domain name into the PC, it hits the server and asks for my credentials. I've spoken with Apple and they said to enter my diradmin credentials and I should be all set. That doesn't work. I also tried my own admin account username and password.
Here is a sample from my SMB log:
In Security Settings (secpol.msc) > Local Policies > Security Options > "Network security: LAN Manager authentication level"
changed from "Send NTLMv2 response only" to "Send LM & NTLM - use NTLMv2 session security if negotiated"
Can anyone help, please?? I can provide any addition information you need.
