Connect with a pc?

So i have my pc,running xp,and my mac,running tiger, running side by side. I need a(preferably free)software that will allow me to use one mouse and one keyboard with the. Just a simple little program thatll let me drag my mouse from screen to screen

Try Synergy. Setup was a bit tricky (as in config file and a bit of math tricky), and I don't have it set up with my Mac when running Windows-side, but it works famously. No lag whatsoever on the mouse.

I can post some details of my setup if it helps you out. It's Mac-to-Mac, but at least the Windows client has a GUI, so that ought to be easier.

Which machine would be the server?
