Is there anyway to make the xbox recognize your files with folders deeper then just the Movies folder. The reason why I am asking is because I have a bunch of shows and stuff that I ripped and put in my movie folder i.e. "Movies/TV Shows/Show Name/Season */episode*.mp4" but in the 360 it just shows all of them in one continuous list. This is not very good especially because if I burn all my seasons and stuff it would take me forever to find anything. I hope this is just something that I am overlooking any help would be great.

Thanks.

No, I don't think so.
This is why some people think the :apple:TV is a better system.
Even basic things like sub menu kids movies/home movies dosn't work. I have started putting a 1 next to kids movies, 2 next to my movies and so on.....

This had made it easier to find movies, but I don't have alot to steam yet.

Dammit I was afraid that was going to be the answer. I guess I just have to get creative with my file naming. Time to fire up automator and do massive renames 😛

Rivet

So I was experiencing the same problems with my folder organization with Connect360, then I came across Rivet for OS X. It lets you add multiple folders and they stay organized!😀

Rivet does work better for me, and supports nested folder groups.

Overall, the xbox is still very finnicky with playing some movies and tv shows that I download. Often times, I need to run them through DiVX conversion to actually get the xbox to play them. I notice it will play xvid files at random and sometimes not at all.

The problem isn't my router either, it's a tweaked out Linksys N router, plenty fast.

Also, F connect360's non-existant support. it's a joke. I emailed them 4 times and never got a response...then TWO MONTHS LATER they sent me an email with little explanation of why their software wasn't playing my stuff, I requested and was granted a refund. I have no patience for companies who don't support their software when they say they will.
