Both my Macs (10.14.6) would connect to my iPhone hotspot (13.3) but with no access to the internet.
I tried just about everything to solve this unsuccessfully, until I found a video that suggested creating a new network location and switching to it to solve this problem.
This does indeed work and internet access is restored, however if I go back to the default "Automatic" location I lose the internet access again.
I feel the solution above provides me with a functional workaround, but does not address the root cause of this problem.
Apparently this seems to be a fairly common issue.
Anyone with a clue as to what is happening and how to fix it for good?
Thanks
