I have a 2018 MBP and a 2015 MBP.... is there a way to connect my 2018 MBP to my 2015 and use that as an additional screen? I know there's a way to connect an iMac and a MBP but I can't really find anything for 2 MBPs...

Thank you!

No, there's no functionality like that built into MBPs. It's not even available in recent iMacs anymore.

Maybe not built into MBPs but with cables? Just wanted to see if someone has done it maybe with some specific connections?

I mean, there is probably a way to accomplish this with some sort of external device, but it would probably cost more and be more trouble than just buying an external monitor, plus it would be a smaller screen and it's a waste of a good MBP.

As far as I know, „Luna Display" provides this feature. Comes with hardware costs for a transmitter dongle though.

There are some utilities that let you share a mouse between multiple computers including clipboard sharing like Synergy. With iCloud, Dropbox etc, it is pretty easy for two different computers to feel like a single one with two monitors. Had two windows computers and two mac's linked up this way a few years ago.
