    Hello

I am wanting to connect my turntable via its preamp to my MacPro to copy vinyl across.

The out from the preamp is Phono Left & Right.

What do i need to connect this to my MacPro and where on the MacPro do I connect to. I have
the program on the to do this in Spin Doctor.

    Thanks

EDIT: Got my answer, just buy a Behringer - http://www.behringer.com/EN/Products/UCA202.aspx

You need something like iMic. I'd go through a receiver first to join the L/R then into the Mac with an iMic USB input. That's the cheapo route. You could get a cheap audio interface AD/DA and play the vinyl through that into the computer and record with Garageband or Audacity for better results. You don't need spindoctor.

I have used Preamp L/R RCA output to 1/8 inch Stereo jack plugged into the mic port on the MacPro if you already own Spin Doctor fine It works.

The Behringer USB I can not speak of but sounds like more $ then a 1/8" jack

    This would work http://www.monoprice.com
