I just shelled out a lot of money to get a bit more up to date. 2 x 24 inch Cinema displays and a Quad Core Intel desktop. I made sure to get 2 graphics cards so I could plug them both in.

Am I the first one to have this problem? There's no way to connect the screens into the desktop with the cables that ship with them!! It ships with the three way Mini Display Port, USB and Mag Safe cable all of which don't work with a desktop setup.

On top of that the cable doesn't reach the desktop if you have a 2 x screen configuration as the screen that is furthest away from the computer needs a longer lead.

Am I missing something???

Thanks, Garry 😕

These are supposed to be coming at the end of the month from Monoprice

BTW this issue has been discussed here

You'll need to attach a DVI miniDP adpter and "normal" DVI display in the interim if you want to use your MacPro with two displays!

Nice Job :apple:

Also what video cards did you buy with your mac pro?

if you bought two then each card should have one mini displayport..
