Hi all

I have a series 2 Apple Watch and I often go out running with just the watch. I connect my Beats Studio Wireless to the watch to listen to music as I am running. However, I am often finding that although my headphones are known to the watch, they will not connect when I tap to connect until I have turned the watch off and back on again at which point the headphones will connect just fine.

Does anyone know what is going on and how to fix it?

Many thanks

M

Put it into airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn airplane mode off and try connecting again. I had the same issue and this helped. Not a total solution, but saves some time.

This occurs with just about every Bluetooth headphones out there - or using W1 chip. Never used to happen with my Jabra Sport Pulse until after the third small Watch OS 3.1.x to 3.2.3 update. Since then it works for a few days and then boom fails.

I only connect and pair my Jabra with my iPhone or Watch. I have a separate Jabra Stealth that is paired with my iPhone 7 and Jabra UC USB adapter for my PC that's it. Jabra has only had 1 update this year and still same issue.

I'd like to speculate this is intentional but I haven't properly isolated Apple OS updates entirely.
