couldnt find a straight answer while searching so throwing this out there

just picked up a U2415 (awesome deal on tigerdirect if anyone is interested :D). the connector specs are listed as

Connectivity
2 HDMI(MHL) connector
1 Mini DisplayPort
1 DisplayPort (version 1.2)
1 DisplayPort out (MST)

what would be the best way to connect to my rMBP? looks like it comes with a DP to mini-DP cable in the box - can i just use that and call it a day, or am i better off using HDMI?

i ultimately want to get a TB dock like the Elgato2 or the Belkin Thunderbolt2, so my guess is the DP cable will apply there as well?

Cheaper than $299?

it was $299 but there is $20 off if you check out using the Visa Checkout process, and another $20 rebate for any order over $100 (ends tomorrow i think), so effectively after shipping to NYC, it came out to $271
