Connecting imac 24" to Cintiq 21ux

Which adapter to use?

Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter

or

Mini DisplayPort to dual-link DVI adapter

the first one is cheaper (£15ish), but the Cintiq manual says use the dual-link DVI adapter (£50ish)

I don't want to get the dual-link if the Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter does the same thing and is the same quality?

Any sugguestions?

Hey, just read your post and saw you have a cintiq and are plugging it to your imac. Im thinking about buying a imac and im just wandering how this is working with a cintiq... Any major problems or performance issues? What kinda imac do you have?
