I need a little help connecting my old iPod Classic 80GB to an old television.

    1) I don't know if I'm going to need this, but I already have this piece of hardware. What cable should I use to connect it to?

    2) Will that cable also be compatible with my iPhone 4S? If not, is there any cable I could buy that would work for both my iPod and iPhone at once?

    Thanks in advance. :)

I believe you would need an Apple Composite AV Cable. It is listed as being compatible with both the iPod Classic 80GB and the iPhone 4S as well as other assorted models. See the linked page for information.

Thanks for helping me! I already thought about that cable but was confusing it with the component AV cable. I hope this will indeed work. :)
