Connecting Mac mini with iMac

Hey, I have a mac mini and a recently bought iMac now that my iMac is my main computer I was thinking of a use for my mini so I thought i might use it is a server. What program would I use to control the mac mini from the iMac?

Depending on what you want to do, you can use a free remote control program such as Chicken of the VNC or a paid program like Timbuktu.
