Connecting Mac to HDMI in on 52" TV

Hey guys,

What do I need besides a DVI to HDMI cable to view my 13" Macbook through my 52" Samsung DLP television? Does the notebook need to be put in a "presentation" mode? Does the lid need to be open or closed? Any input? 😕

It should just work. You might get a popup message saying if you would like to allow the device to show your screen, something like that. There might be options like (show only on external screen, or show on both screens) etc.

As long as there is support it should be easily hooked up.
