I have a mac book and am trying to connect it to my logitech surround sound system but am having trouble figuring out which cable will do the job?

Will i jst need a simple headphone jack to head phone jack or is there a better way?

Thanks

Assuming it's 5.1 Dolby and has optical digital connectors this is what you need. It includes a Monster mini-to-optical digital Toslink audio cable.

If you have a Optical input on your Logitech (I do on mine, using an extigy) just buy the Optical cable with a mini TOS plug. The link shows mini to phono plugs.

I bought this

XtremeMac XtremeHD Toslink Audio Cable

Works great with my iMac and the wife's MB.
