Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Female Adapter Cable

Would this adapter work to connect my 2011 MBA to my TV. I know they call the port on the MBA a "thunderbolt" so I was not sure. I would post a link, but not sure if that is aloud here. I have a Samsung 46" Class (45.9" Diag.) LED 7000 Series Smart TV.

On 24 February 2011, Apple and Intel announced Thunderbolt, a successor to Mini Displayport which adds support for PCI Express data connections while maintaining backwards compatibility with Mini Displayport based peripherals.[17
