Connecting messages with iPhone now does not work well

I reinstalled MacBook Pro and now the usual connecting with iPhone messages does not work well. All done (in messages on MBP - preferences - imessages - filled, incl. icloud). But on Macbook only messages to another iPhone are sent, messages to non-iphone Phones fail and incoming messages are not shown on Macbook Messages at all (as before). What can be wrong and how can I make it working again ?

On your iPhone make sure you have text message forwarding turned on for the MacBook . Settings/messages
