Hi, I really need to transfer a lot of data to my mac and so wanted to network them. I tested it a few days ago and it worked fine...now today when I actually need to transfer, it doesn't connect, it just says connecting for ages then says it cannot connect.

I have tried with 2 different PCs both running windows 7, countless shared folders with different settings and with 2 different ethernet cables. I have no idea what I can do to try and resolve this and I really need it to work.

I am running Mac OSX 10.5 with 2gb Intel Mac, connecting to Windows 7 Pro PC.

The windows machines connect to each other no problem, I have triple checked the ip addess using ipconfig and I have tried every sharing option possible. This worked perfectly a few days ago and the mac was **** down and left alone until today...It's driving me insane!

    Can anyone please help?

And THAT (the IP addresses and their subnets) would have been the important information for helping you troubleshoot the problem...
