Connecting to server that doesn't exist

I was attempting to map y school drive to my new mac

I was following instructions to connect to a server and it tells me that there is no such thing, but i have it right there. Any ideas

I'm guessing this is a Windows file share. Using these directions: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=106471

When it as for server name, sometimes you might need to use the IP address for the server.
