I'm not sure what's caused this so apologies for the vagueness details but in the last few days I'm now unable to connect from OS X to my Windows 7 samba shares on my media PC. This has previously worked fine for the last year.

The Windows 7 PC can see the OS X shares ok but I just can't get OS X to connect to the Samba share. Using "connect to server" just keeps trying without establishing a connection.

Any ideas?

I'm trying to troubleshoot something like this as well.

I thought one of our OS X servers (10.5) stopped working. Nope. The Windows 2003 clients can still connect fine (NTLMv2).

The Windows 7 system suddenly stopped connecting though. Maybe a Windows Update from March broke something. :/
