Kinda audio noob as far as setup goes. We do some sports broadcasting and we had some headphones that are good but very uncomfortable. It has the 1/4" and xlr inputs for microphone and headphones. I was doing some research for a cheap replacement that had excellent quality. I heard nothing but good things about the Yamaha CM500

Now the problem is that the connections for this are the two small plugs, not the 1/4 and xlr. I have an adapter that can convert the 1/8 to 1/4 for headphones. Now how do I plug the Microphone input into the mixer where it would be normally plugged in as an xlr? Is there a 1/8 to xlr adapter that would work for the microphone portion?

Would this be an option:
