Connection to "smtp.me.com" failed

    Some help would be greatly appreciated. I have Mobile Me. It pushes email to my phone no problem, just received a message this morning. but when I try to send mail out via my iPhone, I get the above message. Not sure what is going on there.

    Also, this a stuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuupid question, but how do I access MobileMe from my iPhone? :eek::eek: I tried going in via Safari but it says if I'm already a member I should access via applications on my iPhone. But I don't have and have never had a MobileMe application icon :confused: Soooo confused!

    Try restarting your iPhone. That usually works for me when it's acting funny. As for accessing MobileMe, you can't go to the webmail (or calendar, contacts, etc.) on your iPhone. It is referring to are the Mail, Contacts, Calendar, etc. native iPhone apps.

    I deleted and reinstalled my mobile me account on the phone and it seems to be working fine now.

    Thank you so much for the info on how to access mobile me from my phone! I feel like an idiot now :eek:

    Glad to hear you're up and running again.

    No problem; happens to everyone. Apple should set up web access to that stuff on the iPhone.
