Is anyone else having issues with connectivity assist?

I've found that when I'm at home, or work, on wifi, it's incredibly slow but showing I am still on wifi.

As soon as I turn connectivity assist off it speeds right back up.

Without wifi both locations are fairly bad network service - indeed at work I'm on "E" and at home it's a weak "4G" but it almost feels like the iPhone is trying to use mobile network data over the wifi which is working and strong in both locations.

Similar problem. For me it keeps defaulting to a 1 bar 5G signal when I’m at home with an sxcellent WiFi signal. Turning it off fixed the problem. Bug feedback submitted. Will try again in the next update.

Thanks for the heads up - didn’t even realise this was happening. I had noticed that WiFi calling wasn’t working.

Switching off connectivity assistance has switched connectivity back to WiFi and WiFi calling is now working.

It also bypasses your custom DNS setting , like a Pihole for network wide ad blocking. If you turn this feature off, it works as always.

I’m wondering if this is also causing the CarPlay disconnects

I turned it off but they are still happening so I suspect a different bug. (Or the same bug and turning it off isn't working either...) I've also submitted a bug report for CarPlay disconnects.
