Does anyone else have connectivity problems with the MacBook Pro? I have a new 17" and a new 15" MacBook Pro in different locations. Both are running OS 10.6.2 and hav new Airport Extreme routers accessing different suppliers. One problem they have in common is that they occasionally go off line, especially after sleep or after a peripheral, such as a printer, is used. Apple issued a patch on December 8 to resolve such problems, among others, but it didn't work for me on either computer.

It's remarkable that there are scores of posts about this problem of dropped connectivity with the MacBook Pro—both wireless and ethernet—on the Mac Support forum, but nobody on this forum other than I seems to have experienced it.

I disabled ipv6 from the airport settings and that has seemed to help for me. Mines connects up to a d-link wifi router.
