17" PowerBook G4 connected via Bluetooth to that giant Harman Kardon speaker there and my iPhone 5 connected to my iTunes library on the 17" PowerBook using the Remote app to control playback and volume.

As long as I can continue to do this I don't see why PowerPC is no longer relevant.

The Remote app which lets you connect to iTunes that has Home Sharing on works.

That app has worked since iOS 6. My iPhone 5 is on iOS 9.0.1.
