Considering 2020 MBA to replace original 15” MBPr

Greetings


Consideirng getting the new MBA to replace a 2012 MBP with Retina display.


I plan to connect it to my Apple Thunderbolt Display using the Apple thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. The Apple Thunderbolt display also has wired Ethernet port as well as several USB-2 ports on the back of it. Will the MBA recognize those as well?
