Hey There,
I have done some searching against the forum on members' past experience with trade ins at PowerMax. Seems to me mostly postive if you are willing to play the waiting game. So I contacted them to get a quote on trading in my MDD Power Mac against the price of new Intel iMac.
While I still haven't got a definitive answer as to their interest in my Sony LCD, they have quoted me $925 value on the following machine. I thought this a good deal for a machine a couple months over 3 years old. Anyone have any comments?
Dual 1GHz G4 MDD Power Mac
Original 80 GB Hard drive
Additional 180 GB Hard Drive
768 MB RAM
Radeon 9000 64MB Video Card (DVI and ADC w/optional VGA converter cable)
Airport Card installed
Upgrade card with 4 USB2 Ports installed
Super Drive
Combo Drive
Pro Mouse
All original CDs and packaging.
It seems to me to be a farily good deal with the exception of covering shipping, but would likely have to do that no matter how I liquidated of the machine.
So if you have any reason to think this isn't a deal, or not to do business with them, please reply.
Thanks for your time.
Joe
