Yes I have had it for 6 days now (got next day shipping, and yes the MD213LL/A ). Very happy with it. It looked like it was returned and repacked. Forgot to check how many charge cycles it had when I received it, but after a few days of use it showed 11 cycles.

I registered it and have a full 1 year warranty from Apple. It did not mention any scratches or dents (and I see that sometimes it will say if it has it) it did have a couple scuffs that I cleaned up easily. Looks brand new. I made sure all ports worked, and they do.

BTW I looked at it really quick and the one for 1,140 says "Minor cosmetic imperfection on top or sides of item." So maybe wait for one that doesn't state anything wrong with it? Again I am very happy and will give it a try again for my next purchase.

Thanks! Just ordered one, the one I picked in the description only said repacked, so hopefully it won't have any marks or scuffs. I chose priority mailing so should be here by the 26th.

Just received my 13 inch rMBP 2.5/8/256GB configuration (MD213LL/A) for $1153 shipped (Amazon open box warehouse deals). The laptop came on its original box (re-taped; serial in box matched unit's serial number) and all the factory accessories as it should:

Upon setting it up, I confirmed the machine's configuration and was pleased to see it has the Samsung 256 GB SSD and just 10 cycles in the battery!. I checked the serial number with Apple and the warranty is good until March 11, 2014, so the unit, even though is a late 2012 product, apparently was purchased and returned somewhere after march 2013.

Below is a pictures besides my 15 inch rMBP:

I have to say I'm very impressed with the size factor and how beautiful its retina display looks; it's hard to tell so far whether it has an LG or Samsung display (my 15 inch is a Samsung) based on coloring of the image. The screen is obviously smaller than the one of the 15, but the reduced form factor is very tempting. I will most likely keep the 13 rMBP even if decide to stick to my 15 rMBP since my wife has a '12 MBA and my daughter has a 2010 13 inch MBP, but have to say am very tempted to go back to the 13 inch size based on portability and weight.

So Monday - Thursday for 15" and Friday - Sunday for 13"? ... :D

That is not a bad idea

In reality will likely just keep one of them for myself, but my daughter is already winning about her "old" 13 inch MBP

If I keep the 13 will most likely install the 768GB from its big brother before selling it; perhaps the cash back can be applied to a second one of these 13 inch rMBP for my daughters birthday in October ! :D

Follow-up note: I won a very attractive bid for a 2012 2.9/8/768 with lots of accessories and software, so will sell my 15" 2.7/16/768 without having to switch drives. If that sell goes good, will most likely keep the 2.5/8/256 as a gift for my daughter's birthday next month !

Well, the 15 inch rMBP has been sold. I find a very nice deal for a second 13 inch rMBP, a 2012 CTO 2.9/8/768 which had only 9 cycles and came loaded with nice software for $1750. Below is a picture of it besides the 15 rMBP:

Even though we cannot tell the manufacturer of the machine, based on the yellowish color of the screen am pretty sure should be a Samsung screen, which makes me very happy! :D (The yellowish will be solved by calibration)

So, my daughter is keeping the 2.5 and I'm keeping its big brother....:D
