Did you install anything recently? Hardware change?

Perhaps post one of your panic logs and we can see what might be wrong with your machine. They should be located here

    /Library/Logs/PanicReporter/

Or if you have Tiger, /Library/Logs/panic.log

i don't have a folder named panic reporter, i have one called crash reporter. the only thing i have installed would be pse6 with bridge. i installed rember to check the ram, but other than that, nothing out of the ordinary

I've had a couple related with Time Machine before they patched it, so it might be that if you're not up to date.

You can try searching for panic.log in Spotlight. What is this thing you installed? I don't recognize it. Hardware? Software?

You should really check your Console again (Spotlight it). If you're getting crashes, the source will be in the log after each crash.

From system preferences and then from screensaver engine would suggest that you have a screensaver installed that doesn't play well with your system.

Have you installed any 3rd party screensavers?

Were you trying to change screensaver preferences at the time if so it might narrow it down to a specific screensaver.

i was in looking around at the screen saver settings and the only downloaded screen saver i have is the cool looking clock screen saver, but i have had that installed for a long time. is it just me trying to do too many things at one time, and just pushing the computer too hard?

    Fliqio (?).

Does it kernel panic everytime you go into screen saver prefs?
Are all the reports similar to the two you posted?

I would suggest deleting it from your computer for now and see if the kernel panics stop. It will be installed in either of the following places

    /Library/Screen Savers/

    /Users/username/Library/Screen Savers/

You could always try the hardware test as well to try and rule out hardware failure as the cause. Insert your install disk and hold down d on boot. But at this point it seems more software than hardware.

yeah it is fliqio. no it doesnt happen all the time. like i said, these are coming out of no where. i will try uninstalling it. do you think it would help to let you see more of the logs?

Edit: the other logs from this week are the same, but are from ichat, itunes, and firefox

Well the first thing I look at is this bit

BSD process name corresponding to current thread: ScreenSaverEngin
BSD process name corresponding to current thread: System Preferenc

as it tells you want caused it. So you can have a look through them and see if there is any particular pattern. If there is a pattern it will help resolving this issue but if it seems as if there is no pattern that it would suggest either a really wonky install or a hardware issue.
