Hi everyone,

Every since I've upgraded to Leopard (using archive and install), I've seen a much slower bootup time compared to Tiger. Bootup time in tiger is 25 secs max, and in Leopard I'm booting up at around 35 seconds. An increase of 40% in bootup time.

It seems that many people are experiencing the same issue as myself. Therefore I looked up the console log to see if there's any process that's slowing down the boot up, and saw some errors and details I couldn't figure out. I'm hoping anyone who's experienced enough could tell me what to do, and I wish to see if eliminating the errors in the console log can speed up my boot up time.

Here is the log I'm talking about.

I'm particularly concern about the one highlighted in red because it seems there's a conflict somehow. Not too sure what service is that, although it seems it's one of Apple's.

I hope someone can tell me if any of the errors I'm seeing should cause any concern? Any way to solve them perhaps?

Thanks in advance.
